Centre Pastel also opens its doors to families on weekends, inviting them to discover the richness of its artistic activities.
These workshops are designed for everyone, even those who do not visit the Centre during the week.
Participants explore materials with their hands and all their senses: watercolor paper, natural dyes, textile arts, wood, and more.
A time to create together, dream, and give free rein to the imagination, through pastel drawing, a story that comes to life, a knitting project, or a simple sculpture.
These workshops also allow the community to discover the Center and offer more families access to creative and enriching activities that are open to all ages and promote social bonding, children’s well-being, and intergenerational sharing.
To welcome families to the Workshops, Mellissa Brophy, a craft teacher at Centre Pastel, benefits from a young assistant who is incredibly enthusiastic and already very professional!
